Happy Feet

My g/f came back from a vacation in Central America last week and brought me back some aztec statues. It inspired me to draw this dancer. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the sketches I did for these pieces, but I think the blue didnt come out as strong as I intended, her pose feels weak... *sigh*. This was my first time working with water colors... Hell, its my first time using traditional methods to color other than pencil. I hope to do more. They are also in frames matching their color. Gave them away as a gift. I have a few other drawings I plan on posting this week... so lets hope I don't have another dry spell. I need to update more!
